CogLake User Guide
Connectors

Nextcloud

Connect a Nextcloud account using WebDAV and an app password.

  1. Create a dedicated Nextcloud account with read access to the intended files. Generate an app password in that account's security settings.
  2. In CogLake, add Nextcloud. Enter the Nextcloud base URL, username, app password and remote root. Use the instance URL, not a public sharing link.
  3. Run Test connection. CogLake must be able to reach the server and trust its TLS certificate.
  4. Select a sync strategy and interval, restrict the folder scope, then configure CogLake role access and save.
  5. Run a small initial sync and verify a known file in search after processing.

For private On-Prem networks, the operator must permit the destination through the connector network policy; do not disable TLS validation. A webhook strategy additionally requires the configured callback and shared secret at the sending integration. Scheduled polling works without that integration. Use app passwords rather than an employee's primary password and rotate them when access changes.
