See Agent access for API keys, OAuth, and MCP, or check Supported files for preview and processing behavior.

Permission-aware by default

What you can see and change depends on your role, resource access, and the permissions imported from the original source. Search results, previews, downloads, graph traversal, API calls, and MCP tools apply the same access checks.

Administrators can configure roles and preview a search as another role. Being an administrator does not silently make a source document visible when its source ACL denies access.
