Feature availability
Understand why a control can differ between users, organizations and installations.
The interface shows features permitted by your plan, role, organization policy and installation. A guide describing an option does not mean it is enabled for every account.
| Area | Managed SaaS | Dedicated / On-Prem |
|---|---|---|
| Public trial registration and self-service billing | Where offered | Normally invitation/organization provisioning and an operator-managed contract |
| Personal local-account MFA | Supported account setup | Follow the authentication options supplied by the installation, including SSO MFA |
| AI Workspace, plugins and personal BYOK | Requires entitlement and relevant permissions | Requires the installed capabilities and relevant permissions |
| Local model connections | Not offered as ordinary SaaS local-provider choices | Available when configured by the operator |
| NAS connector | Not available | Requires operator-provided source access |
| Other connectors | Available provider catalog and plan apply | Catalog plus source reachability apply |
| Browser and app previews | Subject to installation and policy | Subject to installation and policy |
| Infrastructure backup and restore | Operator responsibility | Restricted operator controls where provided |
Demo installations can differ from paid SaaS; an app preview, external service or model connection available in one is not automatically available in the other.
Who should change what?
- You: personal preferences, permitted personal connections, chats and owned resources.
- Company administrator: members, roles, shared resources, model/plugin releases and available billing controls.
- Service operator: installation capabilities, document processing services and infrastructure recovery.
For an unexpectedly missing setting, first confirm the selected organization and read access troubleshooting.
