NAS / mounted filesystem

Import a read-only filesystem mounted into the CogLake runtime.

  1. Ask the installation operator to make the intended SMB/NFS share available to CogLake, preferably read-only. A path on your laptop is not automatically visible to the CogLake installation.
  2. Add NAS in CogLake and enter the path as seen inside the runtime. The runtime user needs read permission.
  3. Test the connection, choose the scan strategy and interval, restrict folders and assign CogLake role permissions.
  4. Save, run an initial sync and check processing plus search with authorized and unauthorized accounts.

If a path cannot be read, check the mount on all workers and filesystem permissions. Do not expose unrelated filesystem directories. Removing the connector does not remove the mounted source data. Managed SaaS requires an operator-supported source route; a browser cannot directly mount a company network drive.

Connect a Nextcloud account using WebDAV and an app password.

Read remote files with a dedicated account and verified SSH host key.
