CogLake User Guide
Administration

Account access and recovery

Sign in with local accounts, Google or enterprise SSO and recover access safely.

CogLake shows only the login methods enabled for your deployment. Managed cloud can offer Google login, verified email accounts, and self-service trial registration. A registration creates a separate personal workspace; it does not add the new user to an existing organization.

Dedicated and on-premises installations do not expose public registration. Their users are invited or provisioned by an administrator and can sign in with local accounts or the organization's OpenID Connect provider.

Verify a new account

After self-service signup, open the verification link sent to your email address. It can be used once and expires automatically. If it expired, choose Send another link on the verification page.

Reset a password

When email recovery is available, choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page. CogLake always shows the same confirmation whether or not an account exists. Open the email and choose a new password of at least 12 characters. Installations without a transactional email provider hide this action; contact your administrator there.

Google login

Choose Continue with Google and select an account. CogLake accepts only an address Google marks as verified. Your administrator may restrict login to approved organization domains.

Google login for CogLake SaaS and your organization's enterprise SSO are separate settings. Enabling one does not change the other.
